Rain Check, It's much more than you think, and I can prove it! (NO SPOILERS)
I have to be honest, I didn't expect much because it was an investigation VN, because of the broken expectations with a game and because it was a really difficult topic.
But I can say that... I was totally wrong. I'm completely in love with the story so much, so much for the characters! Each character has their own personality and they all fit perfectly into the story, the story isn't complex, it's so light that you'll discover everything little by little, there's no rush! just play, investigate and relax (in every way). Already bringing up this subject, the sprites are beautiful! and the +18 scenes are... hot, that's all ;)
But play this with an open mind, don't just think about ~fun, get into the story and experience things together with Theodore!
this is so good! i was skeptical at first; mysteries don't typically mesh with me unless they are written really well. but thats just the thing; the story is so good! i love how all of the seemingly insignificant details end up coming together. and its not in a jarring way either, the plot seems to develop very naturally, and i even think i've picked up on a hint or two that hasn't been touched on quite yet. the art is pretty good too, it has a unique style compared to other VNs which i find refreshing. the characters are unique in believable ways, and have personalities that work together very well. i cant wait to see what you do with Lawrence, he seemed pretty cool from the brief interaction we had. overall, i'd give it a solid 8.5/10 so far, cant wait to see what happens next!

I always liked games about rain, so I decided to try it out and instantly got stunned by main menu. A few minutes later I got stunned again, by Rou and his well-drawn expressions. And even if weather related mysteries are only a distant future at the moment, I already look forward to sharing warmth with mr. Redhotshot while grim cold rain pours outside. Also, spectacular job on android version, it runs so smooth, and even has hide button! Luxury compared to 90% of other android fvns here on itch.

Thought the hotel lobby image looked familiar. I looked up some pictures and it does look like a hotel I used to go to. Here's an image of what I mean. Love your work btw
This looks really good, I am impressed by the title screen and the save/load structure.
The only thing I find weird is Rou's looking forward sprite, the head feels detached. I can see that the neck adjusted accordingly, but I think the head is a little too low, like if I were to mimic it in real life I would have to crank my neck real forwards. And maybe the head could be a little more to the left(player perspective)? Like how if you look to the right your head would usually lean a little towards that direction. Or maybe all this is intentional because he is looking straight at the MC?
Anyways, can't wait for more. Keep up the great work!

In a sense, yes. His sprites are repurposed from another scrapped concept before Rain Check.
